Founded in Liège, Ciel Ouvert (meaning 'Open Sky') is a Belgian non-profit dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge through its remarkable meteorite collection and innovative research initiatives.
We commit to preserving our meteorites as vital scientific assets, developing a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry lab, leading global meteorite expeditions, and sharing discoveries through a public museum and collaborative research.
Our vision is to deepen humanity’s understanding of the universe and its effects on our planet by fostering research, education, and community engagement that inspire new scientific frontiers.
